описание: Так сложилось, что домены я покупал на godaddy. C этим там нормально и я уже подумал, что все их услуги с хорошим качеством. И купил хостинг. Поигрался месяц, были проблемки и я ушёл. Но проблемки были не критичные и я порекомендовал своим клиентам этот хостинг, от godaddy...
Но теперь всё стало по другому. Стало нельзя делать restore database. Вот нельзя и всё. По их подробным объяснениям "due to securite problem". Теперь нужно потратить денёк-другой, создать SQL скрипт, проимпортировать данные. Ладно, загрузил всё таким корявым способом. И думал уже - вот оно, счастье... А потом смотрю, поиск на сайте не работает. Проблема с SQL collation. Проще говоря, с кодировками. Английские слова находит, русские нет. Пишу в поддержку, говорят - для всей базы нельзя установить "due to securite problem", меняйте для каждой таблицы или для каждого поля :-). То есть, нужно потратить ещё пару деньков. Поменял, но это не помогло. Бывает, что при входе на сайт пишется, что всё плохо (смотрите картинки и видео). И написал им письмо в поддержку:
I have domain eterio.com registered on godaddy. And I using hosting of godaddy. I set few subdomains for domain eterio.com , like lider.eterio.com, school14.eterio.com, and other. When I trying to open school14.eterio.com I have got error page what host is not exists and address changed in browser to http://school14.eterio.com/MLYUP. Other time when I tried to go to same site I have got same error and address was http://school14.eterio.com/TVehQ/QMYnR
From 3-rd or 4-th times my site was opened. Same problem was with lider.eterio.com. When I tried to open it after long pause (one day, for example), it did not open. When I tried again and again, it opened at 4 tries. How can this problem fixed?

Thank you for contacting Online Support. Based on the information provided, you are having trouble with your subdomains not resolving. However I cannot duplicate an error. We require a screenshot of the error and traceroute to your sites if it is still occurring for you. The term screen shot refers to "grabbing" a still image of the contents of your computer monitor that can be saved as a graphic file and printed, faxed, or emailed.
Screen shots are very helpful in explaining what you are seeing on your computer when working with customer support. It is often easier for you and for the support representative if you take a screen shot of what you are seeing and simply send it in.
Here is a quick step by step on how to do it:
How to Capture a Screen Shot in Windows:
In Windows, taking a screen shot is done by pressing the Print Screen key on your keyboard. On most standard keyboards, it is found to the right of the F12 key in the upper right hand portion of the keyboard. When this key is pressed, Windows takes a snapshot of the current contents of the screen and saves it to the Windows Clipboard.
If you want to take a screen shot of just the active window, make sure to click once on the window you are working with, then hold down the Alt key and press Print Screen. This will send the contents of the active window to the Clipboard.
You will then need to save the image to an image editor. You can use any software that you feel comfortable with. If you don't have an image editor, you can find Microsoft Paint installed on almost every computer that runs Windows. It is usually available from the Start menu by clicking START, Programs, Accessories, Paint.
Once you've opened your image editor, click on the Edit menu and choose Paste. The Screen Shot will be dropped into the image editor for you to save. Click on the File menu, and then choose Save to save it as a file in the graphics format of your choice. The best file type to use for saving screen shots is .jpg (if your software allows it).
Now that you have the file saved, you can attach it to an email to our support forum. Please do not place the image in the body of the email as we will be unable to see the embedded images.

To take a screen shot on your Macintosh computer you may use the Command-Shift-3 function. When you press Command-Shift-3 your Macintosh will capture a screen shot and save it to the desktop of your computer.

To assist us in pinpointing the source of this issue we ask that you provide us with the results of a "trace route". A trace route shows that path that a connection takes from your computer to a website, or another computer.
If you are using the Windows operating system, follow these steps to get the trace route results:
• From your Start Menu, go to "Programs", then to "Accessories".
• Here you will find either "MS-DOS Prompt" or "Command Prompt".
• Click on that program and a window should appear with some information regarding your version of windows and a prompt. The prompt should be similar to the following:

NOTE: The command prompt window may show different text than the above. However, that will not affect this process.

To copy the results, right click on the menu bar of this window, go to "Edit" and select "Mark". Starting at the upper left-hand corner of the command prompt window, highlight the full contents of the trace results. Once you have it all highlighted, press the ENTER key on your keyboard. This will put the highlighted information into your Windows clipboard, allowing you to paste that into a text file to attach to your response.
If you are using Macintosh OSX, you can use an application called Terminal to run a trace route. You should be able to locate Terminal in your hard drive in the Utilities folder, under Applications.
NOTE: Terminal uses a command-line interface. This means you'll be entering commands at a prompt rather than using the more familiar Aqua graphic interface.
Once you have launched Terminal, enter the following to run the trace route:
traceroute eterio.com
Once this has completed, highlight the contents of the Terminal window. Click on the "Edit" menu and select "Copy". You can then paste this information into a text file, which you would then attach to your response.
We understand that this is quite a few steps; however this will allow us to further research the problem you are experiencing. We appreciate your assistance in tracking down the source of this problem.

Как можно догадаться, это не помогло. Домен и хостинг зарегистрирован на godaddy, поэтому, если бы проблема была в моих программах, то она была бы всегда. А если она иногда, то проблема, вероятно с хостингом. Но, что интересно, хоть они и не признали, что у них что-то там не так, но через какое-то время такой проблемы я не замечал. Исправили - молодцы. А то, что обманывают - не молодцы.
Ладно, дальше. Новая проблема - сайт не открывается. Пишу в поддержку:

Today I have got error again when tried to open my site. I already wrote about this error or something looks like. And I have got answer looks like "we are tried and all works fine". And of course if you will try again now, all all will works fine. But please add some monitoring, for example internetseer.com and you will see what your hosting does have problem. Thank you for contacting Online Support. I am unable to replicate this issue. When I visit your domain name I am able to successfully view your website and I do not get the error. Please verify whether the issue is corrected or that you are not seeing a cached page.
If this error is intermittent you may want to call our phone support for real time support. Also just based on the error it appears to be an issue with Microsoft and it looks like you can resolve it by going to there help article at.

то есть, они предлагают мне залезть в настройки IIS. Но хостинг shared, поэтому это не реально с моей стороны. Если бы они хотели, то могли бы сделать.
Интересность в том, что повторить проблему нельзя. Вот так глюкнет сайт, а потом всё нормально.
Стало понятно, что мне тут не место. Я ушёл на другой, а клиенты остались на godaddy. И новые фишки от godaddy:

Но, правда, когда пытаемся создать support ticket, там уже пишут Expected Response Time: 12 hours
:-) ну, и как можно догадаться, за эти 12 часов, они найдут такой момент, когда сайт будет работать и ответят мне, что "у нас всё хорошо, мы не смогли повторить". Я на всякий случай ещё и видео записал http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5fvUthuNes Там уже ошибка другая. и через какое-то время она пропадает.
